A response to the community's desire to help after the events of 9/11

Your eyes and ears play a vital role in maintaining the safety of our community. Pay attention to your surroundings and keep law enforcement officials aware of suspicious or unusual activity, especially activity that you think may relate to September 11th, or any other form of terrorism.

***FOR ALL ACTIVITY NEEDING IMMEDIATE ATTENTION, DIAL 911***

For all other information that is not an emergency, contact your local law enforcement agency.

So what is "suspicious" or "unusual"?

• Questions about government or military facilities, government officials, law enforcement or security presence/procedures, access to military bases, etc.
• Requests to purchase official passes, ID, uniforms, vehicles with government decals
• Large cash purchases
• Threats to federal, state, and/or local facilities
• Requests to purchase any explosives, dangerous devices, materials
• Use of forged, altered, or stolen identification (US or foreign)
• People taking pictures of, videotaping, or sketching government buildings/facilities
• Other information that you suspect may be related to the terrorist attacks occurring on September 11th, or any unusual activity related to terrorism
